Innovative Training: Jolly Phonics and Jolly Grammar

Accredited 60-hour programme for English language teachers that systematically integrates synthetic phonics, reading, writing, and grammar into a functional system applicable in real classrooms.

The programme is accredited by the Ministry of Education of the Slovak Republic (registration number 55/2023 – IV).

The programme is designed for teaching and professional staff:

• kindergarten teacher
• primary school teacher (Stage 1)
• primary school teacher (Stage 2)

• teaching assistant
• foreign lecturer

If you teach English and want to teach it systematically, professionally, and with respect for children’s development – this programme is for you.

What the programme includes:

45 hours in person
– theoretical blocks
– practical lesson modelling
– activity presentations using original materials

Online workshops (5 hours)
– teaching simulations
– solving real classroom situations

Practicum (10 hours)
– preparation and presentation of your own lesson
– professional feedback

Self-study
– professional literature
– assignment work

Programme completion

The programme concludes with a final presentation (exam) before a three-member committee in accordance with § 56 of Act No. 138/2019 Coll.

The final part includes:
– committee evaluation of the prepared lesson plan
– defence of one teaching lesson

After successful completion, participants receive: a Certificate of completion of innovative training with accreditation number from the Ministry of Education of the Slovak Republic
